By bringing together scholars working on a wide range of areas, we hope to move discussions on the impact that multilingualism had on the development of medieval English forward. All our meetings are open to students and researchers interested in the network’s work; if you would like to join us, please contact us at email@example.com.
The Society for the Study of Medieval Languages and Literature has very kindly funded a number of grants for postgraduate and unwaged postdoctoral researchers to attend our meetings. Calls for applications are usually publicised a few months before each event. Get in touch if you are interested in applying for one!
Network’s final conference (6th-7th January 2020, Cardiff U.)
This conference will bring together the three strands of the network (lexis, morphosyntax and textual manifestations) and will enable us to establish holistic discussions about the impact that multilingualism had on medieval English: its linguistic features and its sociolinguistic context. For further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
